# Octus Bridgeにおける転送の仕組み

チェーン間でアセットを転送するOctus bridgeは、転送元チェーンにアセットをロックし(預け入れ)、転送先ブロックチェーンに同数のラップドアセットを作成します。

bridgeを用いて、あるブロックチェーンから別のブロックチェーンへアセット転送を開始しても、アセットが実際に転送されたり、どこかに送られることはありません。その代わり、転送機能は2段階プロセスで使用され、スマートコントラクトによって処理されます。

簡単に言うと、チェーンAからチェーンBにトークンを移動させたいとします。Octus bridgeが行うのは、チェーンAのアセットを一時的にロック(預け入れ)または凍結し、チェーンBで同数の新しいトークンを作成し、ロックを解除します。トークンをリディームしたいとき、つまり元のアセットをチェーンBから元のチェーン（チェーンA）に戻したいときは、チェーンBで作成したトークンをバーンして元のアセットのロックを解除します。

チェーン間通信とトークン転送のコンセプトは、双方向バインディングシステムを用いて行われます。このシステムにある、どちらのブロックチェーンのトークンの価値は、初期の価値と結びついたままなので、同じです。
